The Highlands County Sheriff’s Office mobile application is an interactive app designed to improve our communication with Highlands County residents, businesses, and visitors. Information includes sheriff's office contact information, news, emergency alerts, local weather, inmate search, sex offenders, and most wanted. Citizens may submit a tip (including photos) directly through the app, and also be connected to social media feeds. The Highlands County Sheriff’s Office will use this app to alert, inform, and engage the public as our partners in public safety of our county.

For heavens sakes. When posting a road closure, accident or incident; it would be a great idea to post a map instead of just names and numbers, etc. Signed Barney Fife.

I no longer receive alerts sense I upgraded my phone. I have uninstalled this app. Reset all my settings and this app still will NOT SEND ME ALERTS. I did go into the app and submit feedback.NO ONE CONTACTED ME SENSE I 1ST SENT THIS IN...

Great app before but for some reason it will not let me reinstall on my new phone. Keeps saying verify push & goes blank then back to showing uninstall or open... Please fix
