Nift - Enjoy a Gift!

This app isn't offering gifts. Instead, they offer coupons for expensive subscription products (wine, hair loss, meals, etc.) The business model is referrals. As a customer, you are the product. Additionally, the app keeps crashing and the in app browser is extremely limited (can't open in standard browser, for example). Not recommended because it's so misleading.

The concept is great & the app is easy to navigate. However it's a bit of false advertising claiming to be a "free gift" when in reality all the "gifts" I've been offered were simply discounts applied through a promo code at checkout, where you actually have to pay the difference. So you select your "gift" & are redirected to that website, select what you want, at checkout apply your promo code & pay difference. Not free. And choices are VERY LIMITED.

I liked Nift until recently. The app is nice and easy to use. But lately all the "gifts" have just been hooks to get you to sign up for a monthly subscription of something. You name it, there's always a triple $$$ string attached. I got a nift for a "free" razor trial kit which I would have actually have liked to try, but the catch was that you had to sign up for monthly delivery before you even tried it! The category system is irritating and a waste of time. It can never find something useful.
