When it connects, love it. The design is great and I love the smart speed even though it's just in beta, this should be just standard. It's also much better for Oled since when it's in dark mode it's black. The only problem is I have to restart my phone when I want to connect to the bike with this app. EDIT: so disabling battery optimizations (I had to do the same thing for the Vanmoof app; does allow it to connect without restarting the device; though it does still require disabling Bluetooth and turning it back on.

Hi Jacob! Thank you for your review, but it is sad to hear that the connection is not working optimally. Would you like to turn off the battery saver mode for the app and if it still doesn't work, download DontKillMyApp? This ensures that the app can be kept open in the background on devices where this is not yet happening properly.

App constantly disconnects from the bike. In order to reconnect, I need to kill the app and start it again. It should either keep being connected it, if it is not possible, there should be easier way to reconnect. Also, there is no clear indication when the app is connected ( yes, I can see it on the bike, but the app might show it too).

This doesn't have a bunch of the features that are advertised for the iOS app. You can't change your bell tone, it claims to only work up to a particular firmware version, but at the same time doesn't support the S2 that is below the specified version. When viewing settings, my 2018 S2 actually shows up as an S3 and looking at the dashboard it says the S2 isn't supported "yet". Taking money from users without disclosing those limitations is questionable at best...
