WGEM News

They stream high school basketball game. Their app is available pretty much on all providers except Samsung TV which we have, so I Downloaded the app on my phone but their app does not rotate into landscape even watching video. This made watching the game less than enjoyable as it was maybe 1.25" x 3". Casting it to the TV made it seem smaller than watching on phone. Samsung TV's have had an average 30% market share over the past 3 years. Why would they not have an app for Samsung TV's???

I used to love this app but now all the notifications go straight to live stream and you can't ever get the story. I liked when it gave you the option to read or watch the story on your own time. I dont have cable or local channels (which is why I downloaded the app in the first place) and I used to get all my news from here. Now I have to hope the story gets posted either by someone local or WGEM on Facebook if I want any local news. Would download again if it gets fixed.

The headline news item is never available. A banner notifys a breaking story but its not in the app. I wouldn't be trying to read the news if WGEM was available as ilanle to watch on TV but due to the ongoing feud with DISH and the fact that our local station cares nothing for its community of DISH viewers we are denied many of our favorite programs and our local news and weather.
