Why download this app?
We have consolidated a series of guided meditations with Jon on a single platform. These meditations give you a broad, holistic approach to learning and deepening your mindfulness practice. They also provide evidence-based tools to help you:
Cope with stress
Go about your daily routine with more presence
Become calmer
Rest and relax
Living more mindfully with your loved-ones
Give pain-relief
Incorporate mindfulness into your self-care routine
Improve well-being and happiness

The first series, Coping with Stress, constitutes the core practice curriculum of Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), developed at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center, USA. They can be used together with Full Catastrophe Living: Using the Wisdom of Your Body and Mind to Face Stress, Pain, and Illness (revised, 2013). These series include for example:
Body Scan
Mindful Yoga
Sitting Meditation

The second series focuses on mindfulness in everyday life. These meditations go well together with Jon’s book, Wherever You Go, There You Are: Mindfulness Meditation in Everyday Life. These series include, for example:
Short, medium and long duration sitting meditation
Lying down meditation practice

The third series, Healing Yourself and the World, provides an opportunity to go deeper into the meditation practice. These meditations go with the book, Coming to Our Senses: Healing Ourselves and the World Through Mindfulness (2005). It offers guided meditations on:
- Body scan
- Breath work
- Meditations on choiceless awareness
- Meditations on loving-kindness
These practices will take you deeper and help improve your focus, compassion, relaxation, and well-being.

This app is fantastic as a guide and an aid to meditation and mindfulness, helps to make practice regular. Jon Kabat-Zinn is a brilliant meditation and mindfulness teacher, a real pleasure and joy to listen to. There are lots of resources covering general and specific issues that meditation and mindfulness can help with, including stress and pain. Wonderful for absolute beginners and for experienced practitioners.

I have followed John Kabat-Zinn for some time as well as read several of his books he suggests in the app. I registered with ease and found the meditations and guides easy to follow. This app was just what I was looking for to further my daily meditation and mindfulness. I recommend to anyone wanting to practice mindfulness on a daily basis. Very happy with this app!
