Ohh Well
It does the basics. What sorta bugs me is how much better the scheduling could be. You can't even "eco mode" as an option. Eco mode is very effective and efficient to use while you are at work etc. You can't set a temp range like on many Honeywell thermostats. You should be able to say "at this time I want the temp range to be 68 degrees to 74 degrees" then the cloud service will turn on cool mode if over 74 degrees and heat if under 64. It's just programming.

What a joke. Everyone responsible for this Danby AC wifi connection should be fired. It took like 20 attempts to get my AC configured into the system. I turned off carrier data. I turned off 5ghz. I cleared the app data and cache. It still timed out on final configuration step. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app, tried two more times and it finally configured.... But then the device disappeared from my network, and without ever having it had it work ONCE, it is now telling me it is offline. I checked my home network... sure enough, the device is nowhere to be seen.

I will not be upgrading the app until better reviews get posted. I have 9 split units and the current app version is OK. It would be nice to organize the units in the home screen. The other feature I would love to see is the ability to copy a schedule and paste it to other units. It's a part time job scheduling all these units. We have them installed in a church so the units need to be synced with all the events that go on. Thanks for everyones feedback on the new update
