Maddie's® Pet Assistant (MPA) is a free app for smartphones and tablets developed by Pethealth to provide health and behavioral support to caregivers after pets go home. Whether you are a seasoned foster caregiver, or just adopted a pet – the app can teach you a few new tricks.

Lol. Just installed and the first time I try to log in with the login details sent to me after adopting a dog, the app kicks me out. Does it every time. What good is it if I can't even log in? Update: I tried everything. Switched networks, disabled my VPN, cleared cache.. Nothing worked. I should add that during one of my login attempts I made a typo in the email address and it said "We don't have an account with this email address" and didn't kick me out. Only when I type it in correctly. 🤷🏼

The app USED to work great. Now, it won't work at all; when trying to open it, the app tells you they're experiencing difficulties and to try again in 30 minutes. When you come back, it's still not working. I've uninstalled and reinstalled it multiple times with no effect. It offered good advice in a simple, easy to read and follow format for the care of your foster animal(s). There are a few quirks that were easy enough to overlook but not working at all is unacceptable.

Purpose of app is excellent. Advice is helpful. Unfortunately, there are so many problems, the app is painful to use. The user interface is not intuitive. The graphical weight tracking is pointless, since it is not a function of time (?!). There isn't a way to simultaneously view all foster pets. Pictures uploaded are only viewable as thumbnails & there's no way to upload more than one thumbnail per animal. There is a bio section but nowhere for "notes", reminders, issue tracking, etc.
