Mad Calculator Widget is a free calculator plus a multi calculator widget that will quickly calculate tips, discounts, home/car and other loans and is also a unit converter and currency converter!
With this all in one calculator, you can switch between 6 calculators and converters (tip, discount, loan, currency and units) with the simple touch of a button, straight from your home screen!

I've used this calculator as a widget for probably about 5 years, maybe even longer, with no problems. Until recently, it only works when it wants to. I have to just Google my math problem because this widget stays frozen on the last problem it solved, which could've been weeks ago or days ago, depending on when it felt like working. Had to uninstall and find a new one that's more reliable because the point is to actually work when I need it to!

I picked this up on a whim when I was traveling and had to convert between °F and °C frequently. I'm glad I did, because I now use it weekly at minimum. It's really easy to use, and super convenient to just switch to a different tab and have exactly what you need. This widget has been on my home screen for years, and will remain there for years to come. EDIT: 3 years later and I just got a new phone. This was one of the first things I installed. Invaluable.

It's a useful widget for lots of things, but there's a major problem with how it displays numbers with lots of digits in the answer field. It cuts off the most significant digits in favor of displaying the least significant digits. Until this is fixed, i can't really give it a higher rating. I'm using the large 4x5 widget. It'd also be nice if there were some sort of history feature, but the lack of it isn't a total dealbreaker.
