I wanted to try out this new fangled interface because it must be better than the previous version, but can't even do that. As soon as the app loads it causes my system to crash. like the main system program crashes/restarts. Black screen for a bit then once system comes back I unlock screen and it goes right back into this app and crashes again.

More than satisfied with the major upgrade to version 4. Although navigating the Android app is not particularly intuitive, once you've used it for a while the functionality becomes apparent. For example, when you want to search and press the magnifying glass at the top right of the screen, the list of sources appears at the bottom left. I did not expect it to be so geographically distant and this was a source of temporary confusion! But benefits far outweigh these minor issues.

We've had the Bluesound Node 2i for about six years. The BluOS app initially worked fairly well. Unfortunately the latest versions have gotten increasingly buggy, with frequent screen freezes and crashes. The interface has gotten more cumbersome to use with Tidal. We us the app with Tidal almost exclusively on Galaxy s23 Ultra androids. I'm still happy with the Bluesound device but unfortunately may have to find a different device if the app continues to be problematic.
