Words Collide

It was a good and addictive game when I first started playing it, but then I realized that the cascade mechanism is broken. It doesn't matter how long the words you make are, you'll never get the same amount of points and XP you get from making cascades. The game for me became more about making cascades than trying to form long words and this killed the fun for me, because it should be more satisfying and rewarding to form long words. Also, the game crashes and glitches a lot.

It's one of the more fun multiplayer word games I've tried, but not all of the upgrades work, which is frustrating. I upgraded the Clear Bonus twice, so it should be 10x the board size, but when I play it's still only 2x the board size, which is the baseline. I bought the Board Shuffling upgrade but there doesn't seem to be a way to do it? No button for it, no explanation pop up after I obtained it.

Co-op mode is way more fun than single player, but trying to keep up with multiple co-op games and waiting for people to do their turn got old fast. The cascade mechanism is simultaneously broken in the amount of xp you get and super confusing to use. The people I were watching with in co-op games kept not using the high scoring letter tiles and letting them get removed, which frustrated me. Not a bad game but not worth the fuss.
