How to Access Cinema Soundbar and Fives, Sevens, and Nines Virtual Remote Capabilities


Cinema 1200, 800, and 700


Virtual Remote Control and EQ features require the soundbar be running the latest update. This normally happens automatically when the soundbar has been connected to the Internet, either via Klipsch Connect or Google Home. If your device has not been connected to the Internet, please contact our Product Support Team for assistance. See details below.

The Fives, The Sevens, and The Nines, including McLaren Editions


Virtual Remote Control and EQ features require the powered monitors be running the latest update. If you have not updated your Fives already, please download the free "Klipsch The Fives Updater" app. This will walk you through the update process. After the update is complete, all future updates will come through Klipsch Connect. Our Product Support team can walk you through the entire process. Simply reach out to us at:

I sent an email to support describing features that are missing from the app, but are on the remote. Subwoofer level as well as surround sound control. They told me the features were included. I told them they weren't with included pictures showing them missing as well as my app version. They stopped responding. Never buying Klipsch again.

This app worked PERFECTLY...for about four hours. Loved being able to tweak the surround balance when I had company over. (I bought a Flex Core 200 with the surround 100 speakers.) By last night though it couldn't see the surrounds so I lost that. Powering stuff off on no help, forgot the device and went through setup again, still no surrounds. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app... It now spins endlessly trying to find ANY supported device, doesn't even see the Core 200 it worked with b

I have had my earbuds for about a year working normally. I connected them with the app when I first got them, but uninstalled it because I didn't find much use for it. I set up the app again recently to use the passthrough feature and now they play for a minute, then buzz and restart. The left side is like 1/4 volume too. I feel like the app sent a bad code to my earbuds.
