Ranking it based on experience with the Don't Starve Console version. It is fun, keeping you on the tip of your toes. You never lose the same way twice. The navigation however on the pocket version is what gets me. You're not able to kite (dodge) attacks as easily and therefore you tend to lose a lot of battles, which would give you well needed resources.

It is a classic survival experience with a lot of unique stuff and a wonderful art style. However, the control can be awkward, especially in combat, and recently, the game has been extremely glitchy when it comes to navigating menus and general gameplay. The menu selects things or moves with no input, and in a game, it is near impossible to drop items from your inventory right now.

Love this game. After the negative reviews, I was actually pleasantly surprised by how well it plays. Yes it definitely has some annoyances, such as hotbar item swapping and dropping (dropping items is finnicky, crockpotting from the refrigerator is a no go). Also, when trying to drop an item from the left side of the hotbar, the player will just start walking instead.. lastly there is no quickswapping weapons/tools. Overall having a great time though. It has good potential, pls keep updating!
