I used to really enjoy this. Now I can't play through a full hand without it crashing. Once it crashes, I can't continue from my save and have to start all over, completely removing progression mechanics. This bug renders the game unplayable. The developer is trying hard to fix this issue right now and I will update this as I get more information.

Game scratched the right itch for Japanese style Mahjong but the bug reported by others which crashes after a short period of playing and forces a restart is killing the ability to enjoy the game. In its current state I can not recommend this to anyone until they see an update from the developer on the status of the bug fix.

I have heard that a factory reset on the Pixel 8 Pros can fix the problem, but I know that's a fairly extreme step. Unfortunately I'm not sure of a way around it, as I think it's a system-level issue rather than something in the app itself. :/ Still looking, though.

As someone recently introduced to Richi Mahjong, this was almost exactly what I wanted to practice on the go. Unfortunately, the current build seems to have a game crashing/save breaking bug that happens during the second half of each match. Really hope it gets fixed soon.
