It's the same information you can get by going to the NHC website, but it has push notifications and touch-friendly navigation. The ads, while fairly large, were fine, but I paid the "no ads" fee, anyway. The interface is not the prettiest (IMHO), but neither is NHC's 😝 It's intuitive, and I was immediately able to find all of the information I wanted. 2 requests: location-based notifications (am *I* in danger), not just storm- and ocean-based; and 2 widgets: a map and a list of active storms

This is a most remarkably brilliant app! I feel so grateful to have found it. I'm an old gal that stood in the eye of Wilma. Accurate, sensible information without the hysteria, fear and misinformation. Especially like the radar map feature where you can click on an icon and get wind speed information, landfall, etc. This app is perfect. Thank you so much to the developers for designing a beautiful app that is useful, practical and user friendly, without over complicating things.

SEE 'UPDATE' BELOW--- Nice app! Good response time, user interface is great. If historical seasonal charts are too low resolution to read the text, see below. UPDATE: Presently the full resolution seasonal charts in the app can be accessed by long press on image then use 'download to device' option when the graph is displayed. For suspicious ads, be sure to use the report function at bottom left of ad image.
