About this app

Please get in touch if you are unsure about anything with the app or whether it will work with your car.
There is a contact/email address on this page.

Features:
- Rover MEMS version 1.3, 1.6, 1.9, and 2J ECUs supported
- Fault code testing and clearing
- Live data graphing
- CSV export of datalogs
- Idle speed setting
- Timing advance setting
- Fuel trim setting (for Idle CO/emissions)

Planned feature updates:
- Specific testing for Lambda sensors
- Support MEMS 3 ECUs

This allows diagnostic and data logging for Rover MEMS ECUs.

This app works with MEMS ECU versions 1.3, 1.6, 1.9, and 2J.
MEMS 1.9 and 2J ECUs need either an FTDI based KKL/K-Line cable or a PL based cable. I make/stock both of these cables, as well as the 3-pin cables for the earlier ECUs.

This should cover all cars with the above ECU versions, including:
Rover Mini, Rover Metro, Land Rover, Rover 100/200/400/etc, MG F, kit cars with Rover engines.

This is to be used with the correct cable to suit your car, or a custom cable if you want to do this on the workbench with the ECU out of the car.

See the main website for more info or to order cables:

Firstly I cannot believe there isn't more positive reviews. There are still loads of enthusiasts running Mg's and Rovers, so this app is immensely useful. It fills some of the gaps that MEMS diag leaves. Particularly fault codes which can be a bit ominous in MEMS diag. However just a couple of gripes. The live text is not too clear as it's too small and difficult to read when driving. MEMS diag wins there. Secondly temp readings are way off. Readings are less than half what they should be.

This is great work. Looks to be about as comprehensive as you can get with these old ECUs. Using on 1.9 with no issues found yet. Logging is great and the ability to produce graphs really helps to problem solve. The display is basic but it's all there.

Shuts down immediately after plugging in the supplied lead . Error says try updating after the developer provides a fix for this bug.
