About this app

iTrack Wildlife is a comprehensive and easy to use digital field guide to mammal tracks. Whether you're a naturalist, a hunter, a nature lover, an outdoor enthusiast, or a wildlife biologist, you will find iTrack Wildlife to be a terrific companion on your outdoor adventures. While the simple and intuitive design make this app accessible to the novice, the wealth of accurate information and powerful search tools will appeal to experts and wildlife professionals.

This guide contains track and sign info for 71 common mammals of North America. There are over 700 high quality track, sign, and animal photos with detailed captions including 120 detailed skull photos for 42 of the species, precise front and hind track drawings for every animal, and detailed track, gait, and similar species descriptions.

iTrack Wildlife goes far beyond what a traditional field guide can offer with powerful search tools that make track identification easier than ever before. Simply select basic characteristics of a track you want to identify and you will quickly narrow down your search to just a few similar tracks. Then, browse through the photos until you find your track.

Updating my 1 star review. The developer acknowledged the bug, said there would be a fix in a few days, and there was a fix in a few days. App works as expected (and as it always has in the past). I do wish it was easier to find on the app store though for recommending it to others. Putting in "itrack" reveals nothing. You have to search for "nature tracking" and scroll for quite a bit. But the app itself is top tier quality.

Thanks for letting me know Kristin! Can you please email me (use link in app) so I can help diagnose what's happening? You might try deleting and re-installing it.

Was great, but no longer works in Android 10. I installed it on my old phone and it worked fine. On my new phone, a Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra running Android10, the app crashes every time I try to open it. Edit: I uninstalled it and then reinstalled, and it works fine now. It's an excellent app.

Thanks for letting me know. This is the first I've heard of this. I'll look into it right away to see if I can track down what's causing it to crash.
