Although the app allows for regular banking needs, it gets only a single star, because the most basic of functions don't work. I prefer English as the language and every single time I close and reopen the app, it defaults back to French. Even tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app and this issue persists. My second gripe with the app is the inability to pay using the app at stores. Security etc. aside, the utility of the app is very limited.

Hi, Thanks or your review. Yes, the language switch can be a bit unstable at times. What might work is to completely log-out of the app. Connect to My ING via your PC and change the language in the web version of My ING. Kind regards your ING Team.

It includes all the functionality I need, however push notifications don't work for a long time. When I give permissions in Android for the app to show notifications, the app says notifications are disabled in the system. If I remove the notifications permissions in Android then the app acts as if everything is fine and allows to set push notifications, but they are disabled at system level. Reinstalling does not solve the issue. With the new app being discontinued I expect a fix for this issue.

I have to say I never saw such a poor business decision as ING is doing. You spent time, effort, and money to develop new app just so in less than a year you discontinue it and return to the old app. And as a 'bonus' you take away Payconiq. Bravo, best customer service ever. Rather than to continue to update and develop the new app to fix and add features that customers loved in the old app, you decided to throw away all that effort. Immature and childish (and poor) decision.

Hi, the switch from Digicash to Payconiq allows us to start integrating this app to My ING and some new things will appear in the incoming months, like the dark mode feature. Kind regards, your ING team
