How are rating calculated?

Each component is rated according to its level of danger or its potentially undesirable effects on humans and nature... All this thanks to a color code, symbolized by a flower, ranging from green to red. SIGMA and Touslesprix.com

At the end of 2017, two engineering students from the SIGMA chemistry school in Clermont-Ferrand took part in the INCI Beauty project. Since November 2018, a chemical engineer has joined us and gives us his scientific support to give you the best guidance on the function of INCI ingredients, in order to offer consistent rating and objective results, regardless of any commercial interest.

So far I love this app. I've been checking all my products and adding photos. Fascinating to see how some ingredients that are allowed (and in so many products) are banned elsewhere. Something to think about. The one huge negative are the full page ads. The first one I saw upon opening the app was for Facebook and I clicked it thinking I'd be using my FB account to use the app. The X on the ads needs to be more obvious. Other than that, I don't mind the ads. The app use is worth it.

Pretty good app, the only downside is that's it's not updated to other regions' products like Hungarian, and since I use a Hungarian made shampoo and my hair gets greasy the next day, I really wanted to know what's in it and what alternatives I could use instead.

If we do not know the product, you can take a photo of its ingredients, you will then receive a notification when we have analyzed the composition.

It's an amazing idea for an application, but many products I scanned for example by Reviderm are "products in creation" - so not being updated with a proper category, and therefore are not found when I search by brand name "Reviderm". I don't always have the barcode to scan, sometimes I just want to search and check the existing products!

We are sorry, we are indeed a little behind on the name and categorization of products sometimes, we prioritize the analysis of the composition. But users who are Premium have the option to fill in the brand, name, and category if they want.
