You can't change the CC balance due date or pay it off with an external account. To do so on the website, you have to go through a mind-bogglingly unintuitive process through another company's website. You want to set up automatic CC payments? Cool, just contact support, they'll send you a PDF to fill out, then just send it back to them 😐 Also defaults to paper statements. This bank is definitely living decades in the past.... The app also shows message indicators but no corresponding messages.

Many times when I take photos to deposit a check, it doesn't work. It will take onky the front side, then the screen shifts back to the opening page and I can't take the back of the check photo to complete the transaction. This happens 4 of every 5 attempts. Problem mostly resolved.

I work in commercial banking myself and have switched my own personal lending needs to SDFCU for two primary reasons: 1) fantastic rates, and 2) extremely competent staff. Decisions aren't instant but the level of personalized service from extremely competent individuals who listen to clients and follow through on actions makes this CU really stand out. I started using SDFCU about eight years ago and have been thoroughly pleased since.
