Not the best. If you know what sounds the letters and letter combinations make in Icelandic then you'll know what the words are supposed to sound like, but the audio is bad enough to mess up a newbie and have them saying things wrong. The app also wouldn't let me use half of the practice tools. They seemed to have accurate translations as far as I looked though, so that's a plus, I just didn't feel like I could effective learn on this app.

This app is pretty much like any other language learning app. It teaches you basic sentences and words, which is useful for people who are just beginning to learn Icelandic. I thought there'd be lengthier sentences, but they're only a few words long. There's no real explanation to what the individual words mean, or how to build sentences. The audio stops for no apparent reason after two or three sentences, and when it's actually there it sounds like it's straight out of Google translate.

I like that this lets you practice sentences instead of just words, but I wish there was a way to set it on "Beginner". I just started playing with it & it's giving me long sentences that I'm clueless on. I could also have used a very basic tutorial.
