Ringpod is same as “Ringtone Maker”, but has classic dark theme. “Ringtone Maker”, https://market.android.com/details?id=com.herman.ringtone
Ringpod is free app creates ringtone, alarms, and notifications from FLAC, OGG, MP3, WAV,AAC(M4A)/MP4, 3GPP/AMR files. You can set the start and ending notes by sliding arrows along the timeline, by pressing Start and End to record the point, or by typing in time stamps.
Features:
Copy, cut and paste.
Fade in/out for mp3.
Adjust volume for mp3.
Preview the Ringtone files.
View a scrollable waveform representation of the audio file at 5 zoom levels.
Set starting and ending points for a clip within the audio file, using an optional touch interface.
Play the selected portion of the audio, including an indicator cursor and auto scrolling of the waveform.
Play anywhere else by tapping the screen.
Save the clipped audio as a new audio file and mark it as Music, Ringtone, Alarm, or Notification.
Record a new audio clip to edit.
Delete audio (with confirmation alert).
Sort by Tracks, Albums, Artists.
Built-in music player.
Ringtone save path:
Ringtone: sdcard/ringtones
Notification: sdcard/notifications
Alarm: sdcard/alarms
Music: sdcard/music
Music not show:
Android system is very slow to update its music database, so it takes time if you just download your music. You can use "Scan" menu of "Ringtone Maker" to force update, then you'll see these music.

This has been my go-to for any ringtone, notification or alarm for years and between 3 or 4 phones. The fact that you can edit, trim and boost volume is a plus in my book. It's also nice that I can search my vast library of ringtones thanks to SD card access. Very user friendly and easy to use. Glad I upgraded to this app! Keep up the great work!

I have been using this app for over 3 years or more, I play all of my music thru Samsung music so all of my songs are automatically on the ringpod app. I just choose the song that I want to make a ringtone, you can edit, preview the song and assign it to any one of your contacts. This app is fantastic, never had any issues and I just love it. This is the only app I use for all of my ringtones.

Thanks so much for the app it used more than anything else on my phone! Download a song or tone, turn into a ringtone, you can customize All the ringtones to have meaning to person calling, more features Adding louder ones for the alarm ringtone, save or change them any time. There's a way to send them, put play list together. LOVE IT CHECK IT OUT! Only thing is the music you download can be anything you want but I found out if you use a song like classical music it's too long to use.
