Android Device Policy offers:
• Easy enrollment
• Access to managed Google Play
• Access to email and work resources

Developers, use the Android Management API (https://g.co/dev/androidmanagement) to manage devices with Android Device Policy.

Permissions Notice
• Camera: optionally used to scan QR codes for enterprise enrollment
• Contacts: used to add your work account to the device, required for access to managed Google Play
• Phone: used for device registration, to report device identifiers to your IT admin
• Location: used to query available WiFi networks, to align with IT policy and offer a new network if current configuration is broken

Nice idea but a failure. 1. Takes up too much of phone memory, drains battery quickly. 2. Account automatically signs out regularly. There is no way I can sign in again as it keeps loading but never loads. 3. Shows update notifications and creates problems when not updated. But stops midway while updating. Had to delete work profile to do so. 4. Can't upload files to Mail or Drive directly from phone. Had to install separate work Chrome in order to do so. 5. Doesn't show dowloaded files anywhere

Hi, can you please try updating the app manually to the latest version? We're aware of this issue affecting some devices and at this point would recommend manual update of the app to mitigate the issue.

If you click the vertical ... in the top right corner you can uncheck the box for automatic updates and that should help. In addition to doing that you can also empty the apps stored and cached data under settings > android device policy> delete storage > delete cache and finally at the very bottom you should see an option to terminate or pause the app. I followed the steps outlined above a few months ago and have had no issues, hope this helps

This "app" did not come pre installed on my phone. Or it was not activate, until the 5th of March.. Disturbing, frustrating and incumbent. Especially since the "app" uninstall button does not work, not to mention the privacy policy essentially, WORTHLESS. If not having this "app" on my device was optional, I would feel a lot better about using my phone for anything. Honestly. P.S I felt I should clarify, even though my first was deleted. I still stand by what I previously wrote.
