Tonk Star is a fast paced card game that can be played in single player or against real players. Also known as tunk - it is a “draw and discard” card game played against 2 or 3 opponents. Tonk is played with 5 cards - and is similar to Gin Rummy and knock rummy. It is easy to learn, fun to play and free to download!
This single player version of tonk (or tunk) is entirely free, can be played offline and is guaranteed to give your hours of nonstop fun.

Tonk is played with a single card deck that is dealt to a maximum a three players. The object of this card game is to discard all your cards by forming a sequence or set (known as a SPREAD). You can also discard a card by "HITTING" another players (or your own) spread. You can end the round by tapping "KNOCK". "Knocking" will count each player's card - the player with the least amount of points wins. Points are assigned based on the card value. Tap the "Rules" button in the app for a detailed set of rule on how to to play tonk card game.

The graphics are very basic and your opponents are AI so they cheat. Cards that have been played get played again by the AI players. If you pull a card that was just played and try to discard it, you can't, but the AI can. If you have the option of hitting yourself or the AI, the game decides and you'll hit yourself. If you have a spread of four and only want to spread three, the game won't let you. Horrible! I played for a couple of months, but I am done.

The game as played here is great. If you want more excitement, there are a couple of rules that are common as I've found in my travels and meeting people for various walks of life that know the game. You could add along with the auto win of 50 are 49 and flushes, off the deal. Thank you for a wonderful experience with this game. Jesse D.

The game is fun. The new wild card option is cheating. Way to many ads. I understand it pays the bills, but forcing me to watch an ad before I even play my 1st game or forcing me to watch an ad because I want to go back to the main option screen is a bit ridiculous.
