Well, since your Hebrew and Greek apps have worked out so well, I thought I'd give Portuguese one more try on your app. I haven't been able to learn it from other apps including Duolingo just because I couldn't hear the sounds the speakers were making. I hear those weird nasal sounds perfectly on your app! I just finished my first lesson and I'm thrilled to finally be learning Portuguese! Five stars all the way!

Really good for vocabulary, there's basically nothing here for learning grammar though, which is why I only gave 4 stars. I would love to learn to conjugate the verbs for example. I like making the review a little harder for myself by turning off sound as I do the spelling excersises. The free trial using the flowers (in app currency that you can gain just by doing the excersises) not requiring me to fill in any bank information makes this really feel secure, I appreciate that.

Annoyingly tries to trick you into paying for the app before you have even used it. No way to select your level, meaning you are stuck on easy, learning nothing if you are more advanced.

Hi Kris! After you passed the test, you were suggested a level to start with, and you were offered to get a Free Trial to unlock all the levels and features. But you can skip this offer and use the Free version instead. Moreover, you can unlock all the contents for free with flowers. I hope this helps & you change the ratingπ Best, Claire
