Preparing for the SAT® could be a difficult job, especially when it comes to learning vocabulary. The last thing you would want to do is use some clunky app or pick up an expensive book and waste time learning many useless words.

At Fortitude, we have worked with many expert teachers to curate only the essential words that you are likely to need for the SAT® reading/writing & language tests instead of adding thousands of words.

To save you time from learning thousands of unnecessary words, we have worked with expert teachers to curate only the essential words that you are likely to need for the SAT® reading/writing & language test.

From years of expertise in teaching vocabulary, we have learned many valuable lessons from our students. We have realized, sometimes it's painful to learn even the smallest amount of words when it's hard to grasp the definitions. If it's hard to understand what a word means, it could be harder to memorize it in the long term.

To make words easy to understand, we have employed two strategies which we've found quite compelling.
A long, detailed definition makes it easy to understand a word that you're encountering for the first time.
A short, simple definition that could be easy to remember in the long term.

Thanks for checking us out. We wish you the best for the SAT®.

Love the range of words and the examples provided. However I'd like there to be more variety in testing and review. The multiple choice questions are too similar and repetitive. Sure it gets the job done memorizing words but it doesn't help in learning how to effectively use them. The app would be better with more ways of reviewing terms (fill in, different answer choices, synonyms, etc) but still decent overall.

The app would have been perfect, if i had practiced writing skills, while remembering words. Because it can help to a person to remember the word much better. And also while doing test everything is repeating again and again. So it is really cool and useful app, if will fix them.

It's good so far. Just starting at beginner level. Only thing I think could be better is the change up the wording during the multiple choice section. they pretty much have the same wording over and over. Kind of makes it easy.
