Locking your Equifax credit report will not prevent access to your credit report at any other credit reporting agency. Entities that may still have access to your Equifax credit report include: companies like Equifax Consumer Services LLC, which provide you with access to your credit report or credit score, or monitor your credit report as part of a subscription or similar service; companies that provide you with a copy of your credit report or credit score, upon your request; federal, state and local government agencies and courts in certain circumstances; companies using the information in connection with the underwriting of insurance, or for employment, tenant or background screening purposes; companies that have a current account or relationship with you, and collection agencies acting on behalf of those whom you owe; companies that authenticate a consumer's identity for purposes other than granting credit, or for investigating or preventing actual or potential fraud; and companies that wish to make pre-approved offers of credit or insurance to you. This app is for "Lock & Unlock" only. No Freeze & Unfreeze, no viewing your report. You have to go to the website for that. After the compromised info a few years ago, I understand. However, I do not like the app "Sign-Out" feature. If you sign-out it deletes your biometric sign-in, they suggest just closing the app. That needs to be changed!

My experience is horrible. This app worked great at first, but now I can't get logged in. For months I've contacted customer service. They escalate the claim multiple times, and I have never heard back from anyone. Worst customer service I've ever experienced. And now they just told me the app has been deactivated. That's funny, because it's still able to be downloaded from the Google play store!! I'm beyond frustrated with this.

Didn't work to start with. Don't get this confused with myequifax login. I had to sign up for this feature using this app. Once I signed up with my credentials, a soft pull was made against Equifax to confirm my identity and a verification code sent to me. Once, I went through the process, I was able to get into the app without any issues. I was also able to set it up to log in using my biometric data.
