Wifi AC outlet controller bought for the simple feature of turning my outdoor Christmas lights on and off via my cell phone. Followed the directions for wi fi brand pairing. I get the fast blink, meaning it should be communicating with my phone, but NOTHING HAPPENS!! In the dead of winter is not the time to fool around with blinking lights, cell phone links etc. Blew $30 and still doesn't work!

REVISED Unable to set up the lights using the app The original failure was due to a network problem. We know that peripherals andbsmart-home devices are sometimes not very smart when it comes to an unexpected problem. Once I figured out, from other devices, that the 2.4 GHz access point was out, I knew where the problem was, and was able to set up the lights. But I wish Enbrighten told me. Also problematic is the blue light that is supposed to be your signal that the light is discoverable. No!

I have all the lamps in my house operated by Enbrighten devices & love the auto/timed features. Controlling the lamps from anywhere is great for when we're on vacation or just in another room. One complaint I have about the app: when I first installed it, the app showed if the lamps were on (green) or off (gray). At some point, the app defaulted to showing all the lamps the same (black) whether they were on or off. Updating the app & uninstalling and reinstalling the app have not worked.
