About this app

Troubleshooter is now part of the new Ref Tools app, our essential, all-in-one mobile app for air conditioning and refrigeration technicians. Ref Tools gives you access to the tools, guidance, support, and information you need—on the job and in the field.

Download Ref Tools to access the latest version of Troubleshooter.

Troubleshooter helps you diagnose and resolve many issues that pop up in HVACR systems. Through a streamlined and easy-to-navigate interface, you can check on specific parts of a system and search through the most common symptoms. Once you’ve identified the problem, Troubleshooter recommends possible solutions for you to try.

Troubleshooter is a valuable, time-saving app for installers and service technicians, enabling you to quickly resolve service calls and move on to the next one.

You can also download Troubleshooter’s database, so you can use it with or without an internet connection—which is great for remote service destinations.

How to use
When you start up Troubleshooter, you’ll see a refrigeration system divided into four main areas: low pressure, high pressure, compressor, and liquid line components. Select one of the four areas and you will be able to search through potential symptoms for that area in the system. Once you identify the correct symptom, Troubleshooter will show you the possible causes for that symptom and the steps required to correct it. It’s easy to move back and forth between the symptom/cause and the solution pages.

Appears to be a neat little static app that might help in some situations. Breadcrumbs would dramatically improve the user experience with easier navigation, IMO. Text search might also be handy.

Excelente apps, maybe you need to consider adding Hebrew and arabic to this app, As a student of practical engineering, it will be nice that all the information like videos or apps, be also with translation to Hebrew and arabic. Cause 80%of our student dont know English.

If you are an apprentice then this could be a valuable tool. For the more seasoned engineer it gives you the basic solutions that you should have already looked at in my opinion but good for learning
