About this game

Straight Cribbage was designed to be the most convenient way to enjoy a quick, hassle-free game of cribbage. It features a competent opponent (with randomly dealt cards—there is *no bias*) for players who are already familiar with the game.

— No nagging—no ads, no in-app purchases, etc.;
— No slow loading time;
— No configuration or sign-in required;
— No sound;
— No permissions required;
— No hiding the basic interface elements (navigation buttons, clock, etc.);
— A small download and quick install.

Just good, clean fun, when you have a few minutes to spare.

Known limitations: When the app is closed (manually, or in the background by the OS), it does not remember the state of an ongoing game.

The lay out is really nice and straight forward but I haven't ever been dealt so many consistently bad hands in 20 years of playing cribbage, while the computer gets what it needs for 31s and double runs at least every other hand. On most apps set on expert or pro and against most decent players I definitely win more than 50% of games. On this app I'm maybe able to beat it 25% of the time so the dealing definitely seems biased.

I appreciate your taking the time to try out and review my little game. Though I would like to make clear that there is absolutely no bias in the game—one of the core design principles guiding me was that the cards would be dealt randomly and there would be no trickery whatsoever. My computer player is competent, granted, but it is playing fair!

A good game to learn cribbage and strategies, at the time of paying this, there aren't any pop up ads (huge plus) and it's solely offline and against a computer. My only issue is that with a Google Pixel 7 pro, there seems to be some issues where it's not recognizing button presses and you have to press multiple times. It would be cool to have this fixed, but it's not worth decreasing it's rating

Thank you for the feedback and for bringing this issue to my attention! Oddly, while I now remember I had experienced that issue once before (on a Pixel 7a), I have not been able to reproduce it at this time. I have fixed a separate minor glitch while I was at it, but I am unsure about the "touches". I will keep investigating!

I won the first game, the next 6 I was murdered. The turn up ALWAYS helped the droid. He got dozens regularily, and I struggled to get 4! So unrealistic it's a joke. Your answer is a joke too. I'm no mug but just couldn't make a hand, ridiculous. Random? Absolute rubbish. This game is loaded to cheat. Where, exactly, is the fun in that? You, try it.

I'm sorry you didn't enjoy your time and were so unlucky. The cards are distributed purely randomly, there is no control of the odds whatsoever, so it's too bad you felt the need to rate my game so poorly as a result.

What's new

Fixed minor visual glitches (e.g. tall displays).
