To use the Busey - Mobile app, you must be enrolled as a Busey Bank Internet Banking user. If you currently use our Internet Banking, simply download the app, launch it, and login with the same Internet Banking credentials.

It's about as basic as it gets honestly. You get the option to set up alerts, you can order a new card or report your old one lost but you can't lock the card like everywhere else. It shows you your transactions and there is an option to speak with a service rep but that's really about it. It is 2021.... This app feels like it's fresh outta Y2K. They could have at least threw in some "money saving tips" or an option to save your spare change from each transaction by rounding up to the nearest $

The app is par for the course but the transition from Bank of Edwardsville to Busey has cost us nearly $70 due to late fees. The old system we could set up payments and dates for those payments at no extra cost. The payment would be sent that day and received same day. Not Busey, they are still sending physical checks to major credit card and insurance companies. How the purchase of The Bank of Ed did not include those connections I guess we will not know. What is for sure is a local competitor is offering a cash option for switching banks. Might be able to make up for our losses. Btw: a lot of reviewers are not happy with customer service. My few dealings with them have been nothing but 4.5 stars.

Definitely not user-friendly. Many more clicks are needed to pay bills than before. Also, you can no longer text and find your balance and last four transactions. No debit alerts--only credit alerts. One of my friends has already switched banks to have a more accommodating, user-friendly mobile and website app. Thinking of doing the same.
