Hidden Objects - Nevertales: H

The need to drop an item on the precise spot in order to use it drops this a full star. I'm playing on a tablet; I don't know if a phone would be better or worse, but I suspect worse. I don't remember these issues back in the day, playing on a laptop. The active areas seemed much larger and more forgiving. Although you can skip the dialogue/story, you'll miss important information if you do. And it won't be repeated. Everything is so close together that I'm constantly returning to the main menu without meaning to. In one "chapter," it's necessary to gather ingredients for a potion, but you can't see the recipe until after you've gathered most of the ingredients. I had to use a walkthrough to find them. Problems with the HOPs. Items have to be tapped in exactly the right spot. If one item is to be used on another, it has to be placed precisely. In one, there were at least TWO feathers -- a peacock feather and a goose feather or similar. I couldn't pick up either one. Finally wasted a hint to find it was the goose feather, and then spent another minute (literally) trying to pick it up before I hit the sweet spot. Unclear instructions -- a bucket needs a "rope." That's the word that is used, but, ultimately, you use a vine (as if that would work). It says that the birds should be moved until they "face each other." What it means is that they all need to be moved so that they all face the center. That I would have done.

You turn off the music to play the game and the music is still on!!! The music is horrible!!!! It's also hard to pick up things you have to try many times to do so!!! Can't shut off the music I'm going to uninstall. This was 12-25-20. I tried this game again 7-23-22 and it hasn't changed! Should be 0 stars!

Enjoying it so far for the most part. I wouldn't say it's their best game, And it does have troubles with selecting things at times, you have to push something over and over, which sometimes makes you think you are doing it wrong and then waste a ton of time just to realize it was the right move. But ultimately it's a fun game. Good job guys!
