About this app

Having a child with autism is one of the biggest challenges a parent has to face. That life-changing moment when your child was first diagnosed will stay with you forever. We know there are times of sadness, anger or exhaustion, but there are also those unique moments that made your family grow stronger: receiving support from your community, not losing hope and experiencing the kindness or acceptance of strangers. Although there are many things to be grateful for, these are details that only people dealing with the same situation can understand.

That’s why we created Autism Parenting Magazine.

You see, sometimes you don’t just need the most up-to-date news and professional guidance for you and your child on the subject of autism. You need someone to talk to, you need a community that is there for you.

With more than 73,000 readers, Autism Parenting Magazine is more than a magazine. We fully support your family by ensuring access to:

This is a free app download. Within the app users can purchase the current issue and back issues.
Subscriptions are also available within the application. A subscription will start from the latest issue.

Available subscriptions are:

12 months: 12 issues per year

-The subscription will renew automatically unless cancelled more than 24 hours before the end of the current period. You will be charged for renewal within 24 hours of the end of the current period, for the same duration and at the current subscription rate for the product.
-You may turn off the auto-renewal of subscriptions through your Account Settings, however you are not able to cancel the current subscription during its active period.
-Payment will be charged to your Google Play account at confirmation of purchase and any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when a subscription to that publication is purchased.

Users can register for/ login to a pocketmags account in-app. This will protect their issues in the case of a lost device and allow browsing of purchases on multiple platforms. Existing pocketmags users can retrieve their purchases by logging into their account.

We recommend loading the app for the first time in a wi-fi area so that all issue data is retrieved.

I am subscribed to not only the current year, but also paid for all back issues of the digital magazine. There is literally no way to log in to my account in this app. Settings only brings up "Subscribe" and when I tried "Subscribe" it gave me my option and no link to continue to even try to make it see I already was subscribed. The only button that works beyond the main screen is the "Buy" button but there is no way I'm paying $6 for something I already should have access to. Very disappointing

I had originally had many problems with accessing my subscription on all varieties of mobile devices. I am very pleased that this has now been fully resolved. The magazine can be read on my android phone and my iPad. I am also able to read it on my Kindle if I sideload it using APK installer. The magazine has always been excellent, and it is so much better being accessible on mobile devices. Thanks for resolving these issues.

Purchased a full subscription and could never get the back issues to work. When I reached out to customer service for help, they cancelled my subscription without my approval instead of helping me figure things out. I was looking forward to this resource, but they must have felt I was too much trouble. Very disappointed.
