After a diagnosis of both autoimmune arthritis and bilateral hip degeneration, I was at a loss on how to exercise safely again and re-train my core. I struggled to find something that strengthened my muscles (especially in my hips) without aggravating my chronic health conditions. I gave Barre Definition a whirl using the free trial for the app, and I'm glad I did! Jacqueline does such a great job explaining things in all of her videos. Thank you for helping me reconnect with my body!

The videos are nice; the FB group not so much. There is a variety of video length and several styles of workout to choose from. The ambiance of the videos is positive and encouraging. The workouts offer a mix of meditation, yoga, ballet and weight training. Members are encouraged to post regular photos on a private FB group to mark their progress and receive support from other members. Unfortunately the reality of FB and lack of active moderation can result in bullying. Vids yes, FB no.

This is a really great app. There are so many videos with excellent instruction and reminders on posture and form, a good selection of challenge programs, workout tracking and calendar to keep you accountable. The recipes are great. I have yet to experience any glitches. The access to the Facebook support group is also nice. It keeps me interested and coming back.
