For me, this app is useful for performing quick lookups and checks of our accounts. I prefer to use a PC and Via Benefit's Web interface for performing more meaty account activities. When using the 'Camera' to submit a reimbursement request, the cropping of the photo doesn't work. You go through process, rotate the photo, moving the corners and all then click Save; the photo view reverts back to original.

Via Benefits account app has made a lot of progress. Everything worked perfectly. Until I needed to take a picture of my receipt. The camera kept taking the picture sideways. Tried turning phone. That made pictures blurry. So, I could only give app 3 stars. Tried and tried. But I just can't get a good picture. I've done this with Via Benefits before. From that experience, I bet that I am going to have to send other supporting documents. But this is allowing me to get the process started.

A bit frustrating. It is in theory a great idea. However, the app crashed on me twice trying to apply for a reimbursement. I never figured out how to use the app's photo crop feature. I finally succeeded submitting the reimbursement after about 25 minutes. If all went well, that should have been just 5. Still, easier than scanning in documents or worse, mailing through the post office.
