I own all 3 GameCoaster games, and this one is easily the best. Dungeon Squad has it beat with the art, but when it comes to mechanics and complexity, Maker is superior. That complexity is a double edged sword, because there is no tutorial and you will spend a couple of runs just trying to figure out what the heck is going on. Build your dungeon with traps and monsters. -1 star for a lack of explanation on important mechanics. Otherwise, it's easily the best $3.50 you'll spend on your phone.

Entirely worth the small price. Gameplay is definitely repetitive, but there are numerous abilities and combos to try out, so it doesn't feel entirely stale (although my second run being to floor 300 was 80% just click and repeat for way too long). The -2 is mostly for a few non-functional things (fairly minor) and more seriously a massive amount of unexplained and unidentifiable mechanics

This is a dungeon building / defense game that is amazing because of one thing: staggering complexity. There's like 100+ status effects, they synergize, and later games will see you stacking your buffs into the 10-100 thousands and still getting wiped because the enemies are doing the same. The learning curve is actually pretty good, because the lower difficulty settings are basically watered down versions of how the game should be played so you can figure stuff out
