I was given a Samsung smart TV, but it didn't have a remote. So, I went online and found the Samsung TV Remote app and thought it would be easy to set up using a Samsung TV and Samsung phone. I purchased the premium subscription, but the app didn't work on my Samsung Galaxy A14 phone. I downloaded a Quick Connect and Screen Mirroring app, but it still didn't work. The only contact information is via email which I just sent, we'll see if customer service is better than the app or not.

I paid for the lifetime access since my dog keeps chewing my darn remotes up. Generally works fine as long as your WiFi is functional and both your TV and phone are connected, as it is a WiFi based link and not bluetooth. My only issue (on a Samsung Galaxy) is that if you swipe away from the app for more than like 5 seconds, you have to reconnect it to the TV for it to actually send commands again, even though it says it's still connected. It takes 2 seconds but man is it annoying!!

I have a Samsung television without a remote. The reason for paying for this app was to use my phone as a remote. This is a fairly new , just out of warranty 85inch Samsung. Nice TV. But , there is NO WAY to access the television without the original remote. Samsung does not tell you this til after the app is downloaded and paid for. Terrible experience with Samsung. It's unfortunate , our whole home is Samsung , from Refeigerator all the way to the vacuum. I can't get any help.
