Metlink On Demand is a public transport service which you can book, pay and ride around using an app.
This means you’re in charge, you say where you want to be picked up from and dropped off. There is no set route or timetable - it’s public transport based around your needs.
HOW DOES METLINK ON DEMAND WORK?
Metlink On Demand is an on-demand travel service that takes multiple passengers heading in the same direction and books them into a shared vehicle. Using the Metlink On Demand app, input your pick-up and destination and we’ll match you with a mini bus going your way.
HOW LONG WILL I WAIT?
You'll always get an accurate estimate of your pick up time before booking. You can also track your vehicle in real time in the app.
HOW MANY PEOPLE WILL I SHARE A VEHICLE WITH?
On-demand mini buses carry up to 17 people. Just like on other forms of public transport, the number of passengers you will share your journey with will vary. Sometimes this may be as few as 1 or 2, other times the vehicle may be full.

Would give 0 stars if I could this App is a scam! Every time I book a ride I end up waiting 30 mins or more! Dispite the app saying it would be 5 to 10. Recently it got worse as with one of my experiences the driver went to my destination without picking me up came back at a long different route to eventually pick me up take another long route taking almost an hour to get to my destination for what was meant to be 9mins. The part that makes it a scan is each time it happens I get charged 3-4x

Not any stars but you have to rate to post.Not a good experience. Won't let me add a credit card. Says server issues try again later. No luck. Uninstalled and reinstalled. Locked out of Account. Did the forgot password says it will text you a new password. When phone number entered says have sent you an email. Neither happens. Try to set up new account. Says this phone is already registered against this email. Provide another phone. Looks like I'll be forever walking. 😔

What an awesome service. Very easy to use. Only suggestion would be to save favourite journeys eg home to station and station to home. maybe you can do that ? just can't see it as an option ?
