Based on the work of Aneko Yusagi, the popular anime "The Rising of the Shield Hero" makes its RPG debut!
Not only can you relive memorable scenes from the anime, but you can experience the battle system used by Naofumi, a hero who specializes in defense. Faithful to The Rising of the Shield Hero, you can also become a traveling merchant, conducting business throughout the vast lands of Melromarc.

There's also a robust leveling system where you can infuse your shield with items you obtain to learn new skills.

When I first bought the game I thought it was because they just released it But now over two years after release there are a list of things wrong with the game 1. You can't really grind and play at your pace 2. If your in the middle of the game you can't check progress 3. You can't check what mission or quest your on And last but not least 4. All though it's part of the anime and game once you hit a certain level you are forced into the next part of the game even if you don't want to continue

Huge fan of the graphic novel and the anime. This game does not do the series justice. Not only lagging and crashes all the time on any device. But lacks experiences you would look for in a rpg game. Does not compete the first season of the anime. Game feels very rushed and the development has done nothing to fix or update anything in over a year. If you are a fan don't waste your money or time on this game.

2020: Stability on the game is HORRIBLE, been out over a year and still is not fixed. You don't have control on farming like you think in other games. Sure, anime it was story driven with fights, BUT THIS IS A GAME! You add that to OUR time. Save your money, not worth it right now, probably ever if they have not fixed it in over a year. 2021: I bought this game, on the very same account and i am trying to redownload this on a device. WHY DO I HAVE TO PAY FOR IT AGAIN AT $12.99!
