About this app

Inspired by the book of the same name by John Joseph Hayward, the Dartmoor 365 app allows you to record your visits to each of the 365(366) square miles of the Dartmoor National Park.

The app will log your visit to each square, either manually or automatically whilst you walk, by turning on the Autologging feature.

The app will play a sound when you enter each square (can be turned off).

It can prevent auto logging whilst moving at speeds over 10mph (e.g. driving).

Please let me know what other features you would like.

The app only requests 2 permissions:
- Location to monitor your position within Dartmoor 365.
- Notifications, on later Androids to display a notification message when running in the background.

Great idea and the app seems to have some good features. One feature that would be good is to manually enter the date of a square visit - especially for those that have been to squares previously and want to enter them in the app and use it from now on. Just a thought, but doesn't detract from the app! Well done!

Fantastic way to chart your adventures on Dartmoor, and plan your next trip. A copy of the accompanying book definitely recommend to get the best out of both.

Great job! Thank you. How about a manual option to colour a square one colour if you've just passed through it and another colour if you've discovered the special items (identified in the book) for that square?
