The Book of Jasher and Holy Bible

The Book of Jasher (also, Jashar) or the Book of the Upright or the Book of the Just Man

This is one of the apochrypal Books of Jasher. There are several (as many as five) separate works by this title, all composed much later than Biblical times. This particular one is a translation of a Hebrew book printed in 1613. Sepir Ha Yasher, the Hebrew title of this book, means the 'Book of the Upright', or 'the Upright or Correct Record'. This title was misread as 'Jasher', and at some point Jasher was treated as a proper name; however the pronoun 'the' (hebrew 'ha') never preceeds proper names.

This text covers much of the same ground as the traditional Mosaic books of the Bible, from the creation of the world to the death of Moses, albeit with several minor variations.

Great app but could be more user-friendly, missing for example the button to the next chapter at the end of thepage, (now you have to navigate back to menu to select the next chapter) or options to underline the verses to share or mark. Also missing different Bible translations, don't know if book of Yasher has that? But overal great job collecting the chapters in one app!

It was a great experience studying the word of God. I am intrigued by how efficient the app is , the book is special, it makes you understand the bible quicker because of the gathered information from the other books. I would recommend it to my friends even the laziest would find it easy to connect with the book because of its sence of attraction.

It's a fascinating read... BUT!!! It is not God's word. It's entirely fictional and given the same name as a "lost book", and was written to fill in gaps and add intrigue. On a more serious note, it's an early example of "Adding to the Torah" which is a dangerous breaking of God's commandment. Reading this could influence you to believe things that are 'made up' about characters in the Bible, rather than letting the Holy Spirit speak to you through the scriptures. It's a spiritual trap.
