About this app

Seconds save lives. Our accredited motorcycle accident detection and emergency alerting system automatically connects you to the nearest ambulance service in your time of need.

Specifically tailored for motorcyclists, Triumph SOS monitors key sensors in your smartphone to detect and validate an accident. If an accident is detected, an alert is triggered and sent to the emergency services based on your GPS location.

Triumph SOS is available to all riders, whichever motorcycle you ride. Download now and enter your Triumph VIN to unlock 3 months free access to accident detection.

The Triumph SOS app is an essential part of your safety kit. Get total peace of mind protection while riding in the UK, North America, Europe, Republic of Ireland, Australia and New Zealand with this accredited accident detection and emergency alerting service – all for one fixed monthly premium.

Where seconds can save lives, our Google Cloud-hosted emergency alerting platform will automatically deliver your time-critical, and potentially life-saving location, contact, bike and health data directly to the emergency services within seconds of an accident. Triumph SOS has approval to automatically call the emergency services directly in the UK, North America, and Canada, and via a Bosch partnership in other supported markets.

To prevent accidental triggering, it includes sophisticated auto-pause technology, allowing you to fully focus on your ride. Triumph SOS does NOT however record, store or send speed-related data to anyone.

If an alert is triggered and you do not require assistance, the emergency call can be easily cancelled at any time.

Triumph SOS is:
- Approved to send emergency SOS data to Emergency Responders across North America, Europe, ROI, Australia and New Zealand following extensive integration and compliance testing.
- Certified by the UK App Accreditation Scheme to directly connect to the Emergency 999 Service.
- Uses proven technology developed over years of real-world riding.
- Includes auto-pause technology to prevent accidental triggering.
- Provides uninterrupted accident protection while traveling between all of the supported territories.
- Automatically delivers your contact, location, bike and medical data directly to the emergency services if you are unable to call for help.

Triumph SOS offers you the flexibility of using automatic accident detection with or without route recording.

We recommend you carry your phone upon your person. This ensures paramedics can find you should you be thrown from your motorcycle during an accident. The body also acts as a natural vibration dampener helping to prevent false triggers.

Triumph SOS can be used on the bike and contains software to filter false triggers caused by hitting potholes. However, there may be certain circumstances where an alert is generated. This can be easily cancelled.

Always ride protected.

Great concept but too sensitive, if your phone mount (ram mount + ultimate add-ons case, holding a Samsung galaxy S9+) shakes a little over bumps, the app will trigger an emergency notification, which you then have to cancel from the android drop down or by swapping from your sat nav to the app and stopping it. This happened not only going over some unsettled surfaces, but also when I had to make a sudden stop just as I was about to pull away from a junction. Will try a later version.

Thanks Tim. Severe vibrations have the potential to trigger but post-impact validation process normally reset the system if movement is detected (will review). The preferred positioning of the phone is in a rider's pocket as the body provides natural dampening. Also, 90% of crashes result in a rider being separated from the bike.

Needs a shut off button. Also, it now claims it needs location ALL THE TIME - and it shouldnt. It should only need location when a user enables the Protect Me or Record my Route modes. It worked that way before I started a monthly subscription. :-/

Thanks for the feedback Jack. The 'Always' request for location has always been there. The app needs this so we can get the device's last known location if you crash & the phone is locked. New privacy settings restrict location access when app is running in background. It's also needed for the Group Ride function. Keeping you safe jack.

What a concept, the knowledge that, should you be unfortunate to have an oopppsiee! on your bike, the app will directly alert the emergency services and provide them with your exact location and critical medical information, this WILL be a life saver, I am sure. Further, forget complicated drop-off systems, the group riding option keeps track of everyone and allows all groups members to know the location of each rider. Highly recommended app, give it a try, costs peanuts for great peace of mind
