Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi Bakr ibn Muhammad ibn Sabiq al-Din al-Khudairi al-Suyuti, Jalal al-Din
• Imam Hafez, a literary historian. He has about 600 books, including the Big Book and the Small Message.
• He was raised in Cairo as an orphan (his father died when he was five years old)
• When he reached the age of forty, he retired from people, and vacated himself in the kindergarten of the Miqas, on the Nile, isolated from all his companions, as if he did not know any of them, so he wrote most of his books.
• The rich and the princes would visit him and offer him money and gifts and he would return them. The Sultan asked him repeatedly, but he did not come to him, and he sent him gifts, which he returned. And he remained on that until he died
• I read in the book (Al Manah Al Badia - Kh) that he was called the son of books, because his father asked his mother to bring him a book, and labor surprised her, so she gave birth to him while she was among the books!
