The village of Machulince is located in western Slovakia, in the valley of the upper reaches of the Žitavy River. The center of the village has an altitude of 230 m.
It is bordered from the east by the foothills of Pohronské Inovec, from the northwest by the foothills of the Tríbeč Mountains, and the southern side is bordered by the edge of the Podunajská nížina. The village belongs to Zlatomoravecký district and Nitra region. Machulince is 4 km from the center of the district town of Zlaté Moravce.
