Total molnmängd

According to international practice, the amount of clouds in the sky is measured in eighths or nowadays also in percentages.
The total cloud amount should indicate how much of the sky is obscured by clouds without regard to cloud type or cloud height and is reported in eighths, where 0 means cloudless and 8 completely cloud-covered sky. Code 9 is used in, for example, fog and high drifts of snow when the clouds cannot be observed.
