The Assam Non-Government Educational Institution (Regulations and Management Act, 2006) was enacted with view to regulate the establishments and management of non-government educational institutions in the state of Assam. But in the said regulation no provisions incorporated for fixation of the fees for the non-government educational institutions. Therefore, the government of Assam has enacted the Assam non-govt. Educational institutions (regulation of Fees Act 2018) read with The Assam Non-Government Educational institutions Regulations of Fees Amendment Act, 2018.
