About this app

The “Study Bible German” app can be operated with an Android cell phone or tablet and can be read and listened to.

The app also contains the Luther Bible from 1912 and is a study Bible in which the Bible texts are explained and commented on by the theologian Carl Heinrich Riegers.

It is a free app that can also be used offline. A special feature is that you can have the Bible texts read to you and regulate the volume and speed.

There are subtitles in every chapter of the Bible so that you can read or listen to the Bible more clearly. All verses that have the same topic are also linked to one another. After you have read part of the Bible, you have the option to bookmark it and save verses.

While reading a piece of the Bible, you can make notes about the verse or share the written thought on social networks and send it via email or text message.

If you have problems with your eyes, it is possible to change the font size. As a visual highlight, you can set the app to day and night mode. Everyone finds their own highlights in the Bible that vary from person to person, so the app offers the ability to create a list of favorite verses, sorted by date.

It can happen that you are looking for the exact wording of a verse, but have forgotten where the verse is written. There is an option to find verses using keywords.

The app has a verse notification function where you can individually set when you would like to receive the verse as a notification on your cell phone.

The Bible is divided into two main parts: the Old and New Testaments.
