BBQ Go

Wasn't expecting much, still didn't meet expectations. Connects to my phone easily and the graph works fine. I like the easy layout. What I do not like is that multiple times I have set an alarm only to have the app not trigger it. Waking up in the middle of the night to check my smoke and finding that it is at or past the temp I set is infuriating. I have used this many times when it did trigger properly, but lately it hasn't worked. Might be an issue with Android 14?

The app has 80% of the features you could want but the user experience is quite bad (setting custom temperatures is overly complex, no early warning alarm, graphs are in a weird spot). They could take some advice on features and UI from competitors like The MeatStick and other wireless thermometer companies. On top of everything else the app has a few bugs (alarm interval selector doesn't work properly, feedback button doesn't work, graphs reset). I bought the IBT-6XS, it will do for the price.

Overall the app works. The distance of connection is good and having 4 Probes is nice. I have 3 complaints that would make it a 5 star app if fixed. First is the alerts, they don't appear on the phone just in the app and you can't dismiss it except in the app. Next is the graph, the temp does not go high enough to track Temps in the grill chamber.... Even at 250 or 275 it's hard to watch for changes accurately. Last, and kind of minor but visually it seems off to me.....
