Pałuki

Pałuki is a small country on the border of Wielkopolska, Kujawy and Krajna, a cultural region with a long history, which for centuries charms with its landscape reflecting in the surface of 130 lakes. Although they cover an area of ​​only 2 thousand. km2, are very diverse. The post-glacial upland is enriched by numerous hills forming a characteristic undulating landscape. The blue of the lakes contrasts with the greenery of the surrounding forests, meadows and peat bogs, intertwining with agricultural fields.

You can get to know these picturesque surroundings thanks to the "Pałuki" mobile application, where you can find not only monuments and places connected with this city, but also curiosities from Barcin, Gąsawa or Biskupin - with a well-known medieval settlement. The application includes over 150 objects, not only tourist attractions, but also catering facilities or accommodation. Each of the places has contact details and coordinates, thanks to which you can easily locate them on the map and designate a route to them. Some of the objects have also been enriched with spherical panoramas and photos from the drone, thanks to which you can get to know the beauty of the area in an even more attractive way.

The mobile guide also contains a list of current events and tourist routes, with a specific course, duration and length, which greatly helps in planning your stay. We find here both thematic routes, such as the Piast Route and "Walk around the medieval Znin", bicycle routes - including the Pałucki Bicycle Trail and walking and water trails, through which we can traverse this picturesque region from the perspective of a canoe.

An interesting way to explore the region is the field game "The trail of Pałuki treasures", which will guide the user around the attractions, its route begins in Znin and can be traveled both by narrow gauge railway and by bike.

The "Pałuki" application was created in three languages: Polish, German and English, and it is not required to connect to the Internet to its proper operation. All you need to do is update your database beforehand and you can go on a trip!
