Recycling Plant Sp. z o. o. in Gdańsk started operating in July 1992. The company was separated as a result of the privatization of a municipal enterprise in accordance with the Resolution of the City Council of Gdańsk of December 17, 1991 XXXVII/236/91. As a result, in the Municipality of Gdańsk, waste management and disposal were separated from the functions of city cleaning and waste transport.
