Was founded in 1987 in Santo António de Vagos by Father Manuel da Rocha Creoulo, pastor of the parish, the Good News Radio, based on the values ​​of Christian inspiration, with the aim of promoting the Municipality of Vagos.
The studios were blessed on 13 June this year, the feast of the patron saint of the town, although the experimental emissions had already been initiated in the previous month.

After about eighteen months of aggregate service to the parish, in the context of so-called pirate radio, operating in late 1988 ended its emissions by contingency of new Radio Law.

Two major milestones in its expansion were the computerization of the studios and the increased power of 500 watts to 1000, following the first state support for technological upgrading.
This support has resulted in the funding of the project to 50%, still having Father Creoulo funded the remainder.
